Captain James was the first angler in the World to have a Permit certified by the International Game Fish Association on 2 pound class line.

Captain James accomplished this angling feat in 1983 over 21 years ago!

Captain James Wisner also set the second Men's 2 pound line class Adult International Game Fish Association Line Class World Record for Permit.

Captain James was fishing with Brad Young when Brad caught the third Men's 2 pound line class Adult International Game Fish Association World Record.

Captain James set the fourth Men's 2 pound line class Adult International Game Fish Association World Record.

Jeff Walker and friends caught 14 Giant Permit over 25 pounds on their Permit Charter. They live released all but this Triple Header. At that time the limit was one Permit over 20 inches per person.
